Dear Ella,
Tomorrow you will be 9 months old already! I can't believe how quickly the last 9 months have gone. You haven't been the easiest baby and you have kept me on my toes but I wouldn't change a second of it. Your daddy always said he didn't know what I would do with when I had a baby because he thought I would get bored staying at home but he says lucky for me I had an Ella. As I type this you are suppose to be taking a nap but listening to your baby monitor I'm pretty sure that isn't happening. Instead it sounds like you are having a dance party.
So what are you up to these days? You have started to really blossom in your personality these last few months and it looks like you're more like your mommy and not your daddy (this makes me cringe a little). You have mommy's spunkiness and energy level but daddy's curiosity along with a slight fascination with grass. You have mastered crawling and can get everywhere pretty quickly. Your first word looks like it might be Ella, much to my dismay. Why can't you be normal and pick something like mama or dada. You still refuse to say either but saying Ella is awesome. Apparently, you are your most favorite person. You're constantly trying to climb over things and if I didn't know any better I would think you were half monkey. Your current favorite activity is eating. You love love love eating. Today for breakfast you had smiley face pancakes, 2 pieces of cantalope, a peach and 24 blueberries. For lunch you had a slice of cheese, a piece of turkey, a whole banana and 2 cherry tomatoes before I decided lunch was done. If I let you I think you would sit and eat all day. You have also decided that one 45 minute nap a day is acceptable and that mommy can't get anything done around the house. I love watching you discover your world and how you get frustrated when something doesn't work the way you think it should.
So what do you look like these days? Your about 19 lbs and wearing 12-18 month clothing and have 4 bottom teeth. Had we known you were going to be so long we would have prepared better for you but who would have guessed that none of my asian genes would transfer down to you?
Well you are attacking the keyboard so that is all. We love you!
Love,
Mommy
