Weekly Ella

So what have we been up to since our last post?? Well I spend 90% of my day chasing a baby. She has gotten faster and harder to catch. She is frequently getting stuck under the dining room table and has been pulling herself up on everything. She has even decided that letting go is now a good option.

Father's day was good. We enjoyed a quiet day at home and Eric kept asking if there was something we should be doing other then watching Ella play.

Last week went a little like this.

Sunday: kind of cranky and had trouble sleeping

Monday: cranky and woke up 6 times at night 1 tooth popped through

Tuesday: beyond cranky, inconsolable at night and no one got any sleep

Wednesday, Thursday = horrible!

This week has been much better so far and E is back to her normal cheerful self.

8 months old

I'm 8 months old today. I currently weigh approximately 19 lbs and I'm about 31" long. I'm wearing 12-18 month clothes because I'm so long. I can now clap, crawl and I'm learning to wave. I love eating and hate sleeping. I still only have 2 teeth but someday I'll have more.

Mom had a hard time trying to get me to sit in my picture taking chair today because I kept trying to climb away. I also pulled my bug off my nightstand and refused to be happy without it.

Ella's week

Ella had a busy week! She decided that since her 8 month birthday was coming up that she needed to hurry up and learn a few new tricks.  Monday she started saying "Ba ba ba ba", Tuesday she learned to clap, Friday she started trying to wave and Saturday she decided that she was going to start crawling. Silly Ella

I can't believe that in 7 days Ella will be 8 months old! I'm not sure where the last 8 months have gone. When everyone told me that it goes by fast I just nodded but I never realized just how fast it was going to be.   At almost 8 months old Ella still only has 2 teeth, she can sit on her own, drag items to herself and this week she learned to clap and she can barrel roll where she needs to go.  She still isn't crawling but that is okay with me.

What does Miss Ella like?

She loves eating!! The only thing she hasn't really liked are green beans. Her favorite fruit seems to be mango and if you let her she would eat all day long. Her favorite toy is her vtech baby's first laptop and anything that isn't an actual toy. She thinks climbing over me seems like a good time too.  She still loves people and lights up when she is around any other kids. She also loves swimming, playing outside, rubbing faces and pulling hair.

What does Miss Ella dislike?

She doesn't like having her face washed or her nose wiped.  She doesn't like to sleep at night. She doesn't like sting rays or fish in general, though she touched a fish for the first time yesterday and seemed not to care. This list seems pretty short, I must block out all the things she dislikes.
